today when we came in we had most of the day to neaten up our sketchbook and finish of any work we hadn't done, like our reasearch reports. we done this untill after lunch time, which is when we got given our brief. when i found out our project had to link to the word "believe" in some way i was quite exited because there are alot of possiblities. we got given 1 hour to find some pictures on the internet which represented the things we might like to do that link in with the word "believe" after we had done this we got given the opertunity to go photograph some pictures of our own whih might link in with the idea of the word "believe" i mainly photographed trees and leaves and clouds and naturistic things because i wanted it to link in with fantasy, and magic, and kind of fairytale.
this was my favourite picture becauseit creates a great sense of magic.

today we started by taking cameras out to take a few photo's each in our pairs. we then came back to class and we learnt how to make the negatives. it's a very simple process once u get the hang of it. you start by putting everything in a special light proof bag, then putting ur arms in the other end. you use a special tool to open the film case then take the negative out you then rap it around this special circular tool. you put a plastic stick through the circular tool and u put the tool in a special container with the stick pointing up, you then put the lid on and it is safe to take out of the light proof bag. then we have to add a special solution which we leave in there for 7 minutes, every minute u have to tap and shake the container. after that you add another liquid which you have to leave in there for 5 minutes, and shake and tap every 30 seconds. once this was done we had to put our conainer under cold water for 5 minutes. once we had done this whoel process the negatives where save to take out of the container. the negatives where still wet so we dried them using a hair dryer. after lunch it was time to print our photos, but first we had to enlarge them. we done this by puting the negatives in a special vice which would then project the image on a piece of photographic paper. once this was done we had to put the photo in a special tray full of liquid for 4 minutes. then in water for 1 minute. then another liquid for 8 minutes. after this we had to leave it in water for 5 minutes and our photo was done. once i had printed all of my pictures i stuck them into my sketch book.
